Mar 06 Russell Receives SunTrust/First Data Legacy Award
During SunTrust and First Data’s recent 2017 Legacy & Leadership awards ceremony, Michael Russell, Chief Executive Officer, accepted the Legacy Award on behalf of H.J. Russell & Company for the impact the Russell family has made and continues to make on our city and country.
The award was presented to him by Allison Dukes, President/CEO of the Atlanta Division at SunTrust Bank. He was in good company. Dr. Valerie Montgomery Rice of Morehouse School of Medicine received the Legacy & Leadership in Education award, Ron Frieson of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation & External Relations received the Legacy & Leadership in Community Service award, and General James Donald received the Legacy & Leadership in Military Service award. Each award recipient will receive from SunTrust $5,000 towards a charity of their choice. H.J. Russell & Company has chosen Camp Grace, an organization that strives to transform urban youth, through grace, with overnight camps.
